Drawing Hope

A documentary about a young woman from a small town in Pennsylvania who finds hope through drawing and art. She prepares to enter the world post college while overcoming some major hurdles.

Jillian was diagnosed at 6 months old with a rare genetic disorder called Larsen Syndrome or LRS, at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. As she began to find her voice through her art she gained the attention of many for her focus realism in portraiture.

Throughout her life she has always had to have a caretaker by her side.The person who has always been by her side even at college in her dorm is her mother Celeste. 

They now face new challenges in taking the next steps in life and her art.
